After a rewarding and successful 25-year career within the staffing industry, Arline founded Search Inc. in 1996 with a vision to specialize in recruiting for recruiters. While staffing organizations were adept at sourcing talent for outside companies, they were often not as efficient at recruiting for their own internal positions. Thus, Arline established Search Inc. to address this unmet need within the marketplace through nationwide recruiting dedicated to the staffing industry.
Arline served as President of Search Inc. from its inception until stepping down in January 2021. Under her ambitious leadership, Search Inc. grew in size, reputation, and market presence to become a recognized leader in the staffing industry. Arline’s 40+ years of experience in the staffing industry have been built upon her passion for people, insight for talent, and desire to make a difference. Her credentials are highly regarded, and her intuition and wisdom are still sought out by candidates and clients alike.
President
Marc joined Search Inc. as Managing Director in August 2001 after completing a major talent acquisition initiative for Lifetime Television, Inc. Prior to that, he handled in-house recruiting for such corporate icons as Priceline.com and Frontier Communications. This breadth of experience enabled Marc to bring a vast array of knowledge and growing skill set to Search Inc.
With his keen recruiting insight and managerial mindset, Marc progressed to become Senior Vice President in April 2010. His leadership in the company continued to expand as he sought innovative ways to build and motivate a team of top recruiting professionals. Driven by a natural ability to connect with people, Marc dedicated himself to the art of relationship-building and was soon able to earn the trust and confidence of candidates and clients across the board.
The culmination of Marc’s career at Search Inc. came in January 2021 when he was named President. Marc views this role as a further opportunity to contribute his time and talent to the growth of the company and the enrichment of everyone it serves. He prides himself on being both people-oriented and production-oriented and remains passionate about helping individuals and companies reach the next level.
Managing Director
Michael joined Search Inc. in 2010 after eight years of success in the Information Technology (IT) recruiting space. This hands-on experience provides valuable insight into the career path options and team-building challenges of the growing and ever-changing IT staffing market. Michael also has extensive experience building teams in the creative/interactive and technology/advertising start-up spaces. He enjoys working with professionals ranging from those early in their careers to highly accomplished leaders in their markets.
Social Media Manager
Kristina joined the professional ranks of Search Inc. as their Social Media Manager in February 2021 after graduating from Berkeley College in 2020. Since becoming a part of the team, she has become more prolific at designing graphics and strategizing effective social media marketing plans, relying on new and fresh ideas to increase growth on server social media platforms.
Having always had an affinity for communication, Kristina received her Bachelor’s in Marketing and Communications in the midst of a global pandemic. Her passion for advertising and marketing and her soft skills equipped her well for this role.
Administrative Manager
Charisse has been employed as Administrative Manager of Search Inc. since 2001. This is a multi-faceted role in which Charisse is responsible for coordinating all of the firm’s billing, collections, client contracts and agreements, vendor relations, employee benefits, payroll, and general administrative functions. Before joining Search Inc., Charisse worked within the insurance industry and supervised administrative staff at Swiss Re New Markets Corporation and AIG. While attending college and graduate school, she coordinated local constituent operations for (former) New York State Senator Christopher J. Mega. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In addition to being a University Honors Scholar, she was a recipient of the Founder’s Day Award and Italian Scholar Award. Charisse subsequently attained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Baruch College and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Upon completing her graduate studies, she was awarded the Morton Wollman Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Management.
Executive Recruiter
Renee returned to the workforce and joined Search Inc. in 2021 after spending many months in her most challenging role ever – facilitating her kids’ remote education. She began her working career with a large corporate law firm located in downtown Manhattan, and after one too many 80-hour work weeks, decided to try recruiting on for size. And it stuck! In her combined 15+ years in the staffing industry, she has worked on contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire placements primarily within the legal and administrative/office support fields but has touched on a little bit of everything. She loves the challenge of recruiting within new verticals and sharpening her skills. She takes a hands-on approach to understanding the needs of hiring managers & job seekers alike and invests time in getting to know the professionals behind the resumes to help them successfully find their next career step. Outside of the workspace, she is a mom to three boys (and two pugs) who keep her on her toes and always laughing, and loves Pilates, writing and the never-ending challenge of keeping a stocked refrigerator for a family of five.
Executive Recruiter
Taylor joined Search Inc. in 2021 as an Executive Recruiter, with a proven record of successful experience in multi-industry recruiting and employee management. Taylor graduated summa cum laude from Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2019 and quickly learned that recruiting is her passion. Taylor is a relationship building and communications expert, adept at using these strengths to successfully connect clients and candidates, helping everyone achieve their goals. Taylor enjoys a good Netflix binge, great novels, and she can often be found with Theo, her rescue pup/best friend, on long country trail hikes.
