Assistant Vice President of Operations


New York, NY – In office 4 days per week

Our client, a well-established NYC based staffing firm is looking for an AVP with a contingent recruitment background to join their growing team.


  • Manage between 12-20 people (with built-in the hierarchy)
  • Experience with career planning/growth/coaching/managing a team that has a “sales” driven culture (metrics, #’s, goals & commission structure)
  • Experience managing recruiters & client service managers (or client-facing roles)
  • Has recruited in temporary staffing before)—within the office support/administrative/light industrial skillset
  • Experience negotiating bill rates with clients & possesses a solid understanding of bill/pay & markup terminology
  • Can think quickly, make decisions, is organized, and has a deep understanding of the temporary staffing industry
  • Responsible for running the day to day on the floor of sources, recruiters, & client service managers
  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to implement new structures and processes as needed
